904L super duplex stainless steel is high nickel and molybdenum austenitic stainless add resistant steel. As it contains high contents of chrome, molybdenum and copper, it has excellent activation and passivation transformation ability,with low corrosion rate in the passivation area (because of high chrome).

It is have good ability of conversion from activation to passivation,and good corrosion resistance.It is good corrosion resistance in the unoxidizing acid like sulphuric acid,acetic acid,formic acid,phophate material and good pitting corrosion resistance in the neutral chloride medium.Meanwhile they are good crevice corrosion resistance and good stress corrosion resistance properties.
